Estonian digital identity

Paper contracts require physical meetings or complex signing processes

Full Smart-ID and national eID integration enables one-click authentication and signing. Compliant with Estonian and EU legal frameworks, including the eIDAS regulation. Qualified electronic signature support ensures legal validity. No additional devices or software needed — everything works directly in the browser or on mobile.

Example: A law firm signs 10 employment contracts per day with Smart-ID instead of printing, scanning and filing.

Core signing features

Sending documents to multiple people takes days of back-and-forth emails

Digital document signing in seconds. Batch signing allows signing multiple documents at once with a single signature, saving time for bulk approvals. Parallel workflows let all signers act freely, while sequential workflows ensure a defined approval chain. Set priorities, add deadlines and track the process in real time.

Example: An HR manager sends 50 offer letters at once, gets auto-reminders and tracks who hasn't signed yet.

Document management

Documents scattered across Google Drive, Dropbox and paper archives — nobody knows the latest version

Secure document archiving in an encrypted cloud. Automatic version control saves every change and allows reverting to previous versions when needed. Create hierarchical folder systems for better organization. Tag-based categorization helps find and filter documents quickly. All documents in one secure place, accessible anytime from any device.

Example: A law firm keeps 1,000+ contracts organized. A new employee finds everything they need on their first day.

Search and discoverability (Standard and up)

Finding one contract among thousands of documents takes 30+ minutes

Powerful full-text search across all document content, titles and file names. Elasticsearch-based technology ensures lightning-fast and accurate results even in large archives. Filter results by tags, folders, dates and metadata. Quick access to frequently used documents and starred files. Find the document you need in seconds, not minutes.

Example: An accountant finds a specific invoice from 2 years ago in under 10 seconds using content search.

05

Security and compliance

Sensitive documents need airtight security and full audit trails for compliance

Comprehensive audit logs of all operations ensure full transparency and accountability. Detailed event logging records every action — who, when and what was done. ASiC-E format support ensures document integrity and signature validity. Cryptographic protection and compliance with all requirements.

Example: During an audit, a company provides a complete activity log for every contract signed in the last 3 years.

06

Document templates

Creating standard contracts from scratch wastes hours and introduces errors

Pre-filled document templates (employment contract, purchase agreement, lease agreement) allow quick creation of standard documents. Save time and reduce legal risks. Three templates included on every plan.

Example: An HR department creates 20 employment contracts in 15 minutes using the employment contract template.

Notifications and communication

Signers forget to sign, and you waste time sending manual follow-ups

Email notifications for signing invitations and status changes. Customizable messages for each contract. Automatic reminders for pending signatures. Real-time notifications when contract signing is completed. No one gets left unsigned. Automatic reminders are available from the Standard plan and up.

Example: A signer receives an automatic reminder 3 days before the deadline — no manual follow-up needed.

Dashboard and analytics

No overview of pending signatures, deadlines or team activity

Overview dashboard shows all activities and usage in real time. Real-time status overview gives a quick picture of pending signatures, completed documents and active operations. Document and workflow statistics help understand usage and optimize processes. Filter activities by dates, event types and users. All important information in one place for quick review.

Example: A manager sees at a glance that 5 contracts are awaiting signatures and 2 deadlines are approaching.

Teams and shared workspaces (Standard and up)

Sharing contracts via email is risky and chaotic. Each colleague on a separate plan means many invoices and no shared folders.

Invite colleagues, organise documents into shared team folders and assign roles. Admins manage members, billing and access; users sign and view what's been shared with them. One invoice covers everyone — no per-seat headaches. Standard supports a personal team of up to 5 members; Pro removes member limits and adds business teams; Enterprise scales to any size.

Example: A 4-partner law firm plus 1 office manager creates a Standard team. Each partner sees the shared template folder and can send contracts; the office manager organises files but cannot sign. One monthly invoice covers all 5. Adding a 6th partner costs one extra seat — not a separate subscription.

A plan for every stage

One-size-fits-all pricing doesn't work for different business sizes

Five plans built around the way you grow. Free to try the basics, Mini for solo work and freelancers, Standard for small teams with shared folders and search, Pro for organisations that need unlimited members, and Enterprise for custom volume. Upgrades are prorated. Cancel anytime — no lock-in.

Example: A freelancer starts with the Free plan and upgrades to Mini as their client base grows.

The answers you actually need

About signing, security and process — before you create an account.

Yes, typically 15–30 seconds: upload document, designate the signatory, signer gets a notification. Signing with Mobile-ID or ID-card is just as fast. If internet is slow, it might take up to a minute.

Yes. Files are encrypted in transit and at rest (AES-256, the same standard used by banks). On top of that you get qualified eIDAS signing, a GDPR-compliant audit log of every action, a separate security events log, session management and passkey/WebAuthn support. You always see what happened to your documents and when.

Allkiro accepts PDFs, Word (DOC, DOCX), Excel (XLS, XLSX), PowerPoint (PPT, PPTX), OpenDocument (ODT, ODS, ODP), text files and images (PNG, JPEG, GIF, WEBP). Signatures are wrapped into ASiC-E containers, which guarantee legal validity across the EU. You can bundle several related documents into a single container. Already-signed containers (.asice, .bdoc) can be uploaded too – Allkiro reads the contents and existing signatures, and you can collect more signatures on top.

You can cancel the signing process at any time before all parties have signed. Once a signature has been added, it cannot be removed — but you can create a new version and resend. Automatic reminders help prevent delays.

Yes, Allkiro uses eIDAS-compliant qualified e-signatures that are legally binding across the entire EU — whether you sign with Smart-ID, Mobile-ID or ID-card. Valid for: employment contracts, purchase agreements, rental agreements, service contracts and more.

Yes. Here's how: (1) Open allkiro.ee and click 'Start free', (2) Log in with Smart-ID, (3) Click 'New document', (4) Upload your PDF or DOCX, (5) Click 'Send for signing', (6) Add the signer, (7) Sign. Done.

The dashboard shows real-time status of all your documents: pending signatures, completed contracts and upcoming deadlines. From the Mini plan you can set deadlines and send manual reminders; from Standard upward, reminders go out automatically as the deadline approaches. You can always send a manual nudge on top.

Yes. Allkiro produces qualified electronic signatures (QES) under the eIDAS regulation, which carry the same legal weight as a handwritten signature across the entire European Union. You can sign with Smart-ID, Smart-ID+, Mobile-ID or an ID card (Web eID), using the Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian national digital identities. Signatures are packaged into ASiC-E (BDOC) containers, so anyone can verify them outside Allkiro — in the DigiDoc4 client or the European Commission's DSS validator, for example.

Both. Allkiro supports parallel signing, where every party is invited at the same time, and sequential signing, where the next signer is only invited once the previous one has signed. You choose the order when you send the document and can change it later. Each signing round can carry a deadline, and the dashboard shows exactly whose signature the process is waiting on.

Yes. The Allkiro free plan is free forever and needs no credit card: 3 signatures per month, 100 MB of storage, signing with Smart-ID, Mobile-ID and ID card, and download of the finished ASiC-E container. Paid plans add volume and team features — Mini (6 signatures per month, deadlines and workflows), Standard (20 signatures, 5 GB, shared folders and roles, automatic reminders, full-text search with OCR), Pro (30 signatures, 500 GB, unlimited members) and Enterprise (unlimited signatures, individual pricing).

Yes to both, from the Standard plan upward. Automatic reminders go out to signers on their own as the deadline approaches; on Mini you set the deadline and send the reminder manually. Full-text search covers both file names and document contents, and OCR reads scanned files too, so you can find the right contract even when you only remember one sentence from inside it. Folders and tags keep a larger archive in order.

Yes. From the Standard plan you can create a team where documents and folders are shared between members and access is governed by each member's role. Standard holds up to 5 members; Pro has no member limit and supports both personal and business teams; Enterprise adds sub-teams, so a department's contracts stay inside that department. Every action is written to the activity log, so it is always clear who did what and when.
