Searching inside documents

Allkiro indexes the filename, the title and the text of the document itself. Search for any phrase or term and results come back in seconds, even across an archive of thousands of contracts. The engine is Elasticsearch, the same one large document archives run on.

OCR reads scanned documents

A scanned contract is an image, not text — ordinary search sees nothing in it. Allkiro recognises the text in the image and indexes it with everything else. That is how you find the old paper contract somebody once ran through a scanner.

Filter by folder, tag and date

Narrow a search by folder, tag, date range, document status and metadata. Frequently used and recently opened documents sit in their own quick-access list. The dashboard adds which documents are waiting for a signature and which deadlines are close.

Where search starts

Search opens from the command palette — ⌘K on a Mac, Ctrl+K on Windows — which also reaches folders, templates and recently viewed documents without touching the mouse. Full-text search is available from the Standard plan.
